Doctor Yuval Kaufman is a leading clinician within the field of Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery in Israel. He is a Senior Consultant at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Center, in Haifa, Israel.
Doctor Kaufman is a Cum Laude Alumni of the Technion Israeli Institute for Technology (Technion ITT). He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Carmel Medical Center and completed a full fellowship in Advanced Minimal Invasive Surgery with Prof Alan Lam at the Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery in Sydney, Australia. He then completed another fellowship in Oncogynecological Laparoscopy with Prof Diethelm Wallwiener at the Univeristy of Tuebingen affiliated Women’s Hospital in Germany (Frauenklinik, UKT, Tuebingen)

Following his fellowship training, Doctor Kaufman returned to a Senior Consultant position at the Carmel Medical Center Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Today, Doctor Kaufman is the founder and Head of the Multidisciplinary Center for the Treatment of Endometriosis in Carmel and Lin Medical Centers, the leading centers in the north of Israel for patients with endometriosis. He also serves as a principal investigator and partner for several research initiatives. Previous studies have earned him several prestigious awards including:

Doctor Kaufman is a consultant for numerous start-up companies for medical devices. He is a board member at the Israeli Endometriosis Foundation and an active member of the Israeli Gynecological Endoscopic Society. He is also a board member of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis (ASEA).
At his private clinic Doctor Kaufman consults patients with gynecological conditions requiring surgical intervention, fertility problems and more. This includes expert first or second opinions giving patients detailed information on their condition and possible treatment options. In-office procedures include insertion or removal of an intrauterine device, cervical and uterine sampling, small surgical procedures under local anesthesia and medical termination of pregnancy.
Doctor Kaufman operates privately at Assuta private hospital in Haifa. Patients eligible for surgery include those insured with Clalit Mushlam and Platinum Macabi and Leumit Zahav as well as other private insurance companies such as Clal, Menorah, Harel, Pheonix, Migdal and more.
